Privacy

How vilasubias.studio handles emails and privacy-conscious website analytics.

01Emails and project inquiries

When you email us or authorize an AI assistant to submit a project brief, we use the information only to read and respond to your message. Structured inquiries are delivered to our business inboxes through Cloudflare Email Service; the website does not keep a separate database of inquiries.

02Website analytics

We use PostHog’s EU service in cookieless mode for aggregate audience measurement and to understand basic interactions such as portfolio views, media use, contact intent, and outbound links. PostHog transiently processes the IP address and user agent with a rotating daily salt to create a privacy-preserving hash. The IP address is stripped before event enrichment, URL query strings are removed, and the hash cannot identify activity across different days. Events may retain limited browser and device characteristics. We do not use analytics cookies, create person profiles, identify people across websites, or associate analytics events with emails or project inquiries. We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving this website.

03Services and retention

Cloudflare processes website traffic and form delivery, and PostHog acts as our processor for analytics. We retain analytics events for the configured PostHog retention period so we can compare aggregate use over time, and no longer than needed for that purpose and service security. Messages remain in our business inboxes only for as long as needed for the conversation and any applicable legal obligations.

04Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your information by emailing info@vilasubias.studio. Because cookieless analytics events are not connected to an email address or person profile and the hash changes daily, we may not be able to identify a particular event as yours. Do not include confidential or special-category personal data in the project brief.
